Susan L. Gayer, O.D.

Dr. Susan Gayer grew up in Gahanna and is a 1996 graduate from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. In 2001, she graduated from Indiana University School of Optometry and practiced in a private office for a few years in Cincinnati before returning to the Columbus area. She purchased Cardinal Family Eye Care in 2004.

Dr. Gayer's internships included training in contact lenses, ocular disease, pediatrics, and low vision. She also has experience in pre-operative and post-operative care for cataracts and laser vision.

Rachel Mancini, O.D.

Dr. Rachel Mancini is a 1997 graduate of Grove City College where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology. She then graduated with honors from The Ohio State University College of Optometry in 2000, where she received her Doctor of Optometry degree. Throughout her years of schooling she was a member of Tri-beta and Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Societies. Her training has included rotations in low vision, contact lenses, ocular disease, and pediatrics. Additional training in ocular disease was completed both at the Canton Veteran's Administration Hospital and a large surgical practice.

Dr. Mancini began practice in 2000 and joined Cardinal Family Eye Care in 2011. Dr. Mancini is experienced in management of ocular disease and infection, pre- and post-operative care for both refractive and cataract procedures, and specialty contact lens fitting.
